You just need to be at least 16 years old and fill out the registration form. This allows us to gather all the information we need. Once you’ve completed the form, Mathys and Alain will contact you to confirm your participation.
Volunteering at the WGTF?! festival can be intense. It’s important to keep that in mind before signing up. Sure, we have a lot of fun and eat well, but to be honest, there’s also a lot of work to do.

And yes, we have to feed those artists and volunteers!
To that end, "Mamie Zinz," our resident chef, has taken over the Coléo kitchen to whip up her best dishes for us. Calling all our culinary experts—the crowd is hungry!

A team of professional technicians will be on hand throughout the festival to set up the sound and lighting systems. The perfect hideout for the techies.
Both indoors and outdoors, the festival is filled with decorative elements. Help create and/or set them up to make this space look amazing!

It’s impossible to list all the tasks—there’s just so much to do… One thing is certain: our managers will do everything they can to ensure that every volunteer enjoys their assignment and their team.

The Spartans are a core group of volunteers who are on hand during setup and takedown. Since committing to such a long period of time is no small feat, we offer the Spartans free admission to all three days of the festival. It’s the least we can do.

No, we're sorry. Several volunteers are in the same situation and have asked us to make an exception, but if we make an exception for you, we'll have to do the same for everyone else.
During the festival, you can camp for free from Thursday through Monday morning ( the campground is a 14-minute walk from the festival site). If you have trouble finding a place to stay during setup or takedown, please mention this when you register; Mathys & Alain (the volunteer coordinators) will try to find a place for you to stay.
Volunteers are asked to choose the days they are available during setup and/or takedown. During the festival, we ask that each volunteer be available for at least all three days of the festival: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Time slots:
Monday, May 11–Thursday, May 14: 8:30 AM–6:00 PM
Friday, May 15: 10:30 a.m.–12:00 a.m.
Saturday, May 16 & Sunday, May 17: 9:00 AM–12:00 AM
Monday, May 18: 9:00 AM–7:00 PM
Tuesday, May 19 & Wednesday, May 20: 9:00 a.m. tomidnight
We know these are long days, but don't worry—you'll have meal breaks and shifts so you can rest.
