Within the hip-hop community, we communicate and share through various artistic mediums: music, dance, graffiti, and more. With these talks, we aim to create a new space for expression—an open forum where ideas can be exchanged, with no time limit per speaker.
The process is pretty straightforward: we identify various topics that are important to us and invite community members to kick off the discussion. Here’s how it works:

As the founder of the BREAKERS association, Tom Chaix has been developing cultural projects for several years that explore breaking as a narrative language, a tool for cultural transmission, and a space for reflection. As editor-in-chief of BREAKERS magazine, he works to promote hip-hop artists as creators, thinkers, and cultural builders, collaborating with festivals, media outlets, institutions, and brands both in France and internationally.
At the same time, he conceives and directs the TRIBE TALES international breaking festival in Montpellier, serving as its artistic director and producer, and organizing a mix of battles, performances, panel discussions, and lectures. His work lies at the intersection of artistic creation, cultural outreach, and community development, with a particular focus on storytelling, knowledge transmission, and the human dimensions of contemporary hip-hop.
